NELSON (Hugh) of Fedney / Corbally, Garvaghy, Co.Down
« on: Wednesday 04 March 15 02:27 GMT (UK) »
I'm seeking info on Hugh Nelson of Fedney, Parish of Garvaghy, Co.Down, who later lived in
Corbally of same parish. He was born around 1859, and married Elizabeth (Lizzie) Martin on
13 Sept. 1894 in Railway St. Presbyterian, Lisburn.
Could anyone help me with other names or dates, especially their dates of death?
 Best Regards   JARRO

You have their names so what 'other names' are you looking for?

Many thanks for your reply aghagowey, and the info in the Gazatte.
Other names  I believe Hugh's father was James Nelson of Fedney, Garvaghy. I'm seeking info on his siblings. The PRONI site gives various wills of Nelson from this area.
So any help and directions to this novice would be much appreciated.

Hello Mary.
Thank you for making contact, and supplying the info, much appreciated.
Do you think It's possible that they married in Garvaghy Presbyterian Church, rather than the Reformer Church? The reason I ask is that Rev Moorhead was a Presbyterian minister, and also, there is no Reformed Church in Garvaghy.
Any suggestion how I can find brother's or sister's of James Nelson or where I should concentrate my search?
Best Regards.

Thank you Mary
I'm still chipping away at this family. Making some progress, but a lot more to do.
