Hastings Ore union Workhouse Burials and Amon Smith
« on: Wednesday 04 March 15 03:55 GMT (UK) »
My Ancestor Samuel Smith died in the Hastings Ore Union warehouse Jan 22 1876. His Wife Mary Ann Died  Jan 16 1873, at East Hills House Hastings.  How can I find out where these folks are buried?

Brick wall: Amon Samuel Smith (birth 1853) was last found in the 1871 Census living with his grandparents Samuel and Mary Ann Smith at East Hill House. It appears on the Census that his middle initial is J.
Samuels' Grandfather, Samuel Smith, was an annuitant and was infirm. He died in 1876.  His mother, Eliza Smith, had  died in 1868.  In 1871 his occupation was a waiter but I do not know where.¹
Any pointers very appreciate.
Although I'd love to, I can't visit as I live across the pond
Thank you
Win

I think that the J in the 1871 entry probably means junior.   :-\   His birth was registeerd as Amon Samuel Smith.
