Quinn in Dungannon
« on: Wednesday 04 March 15 23:44 GMT (UK) »
David Quinn (b 1866) was married Sarah Goan (b 1873) in 1902, their children included Sarah (b. 1909) and David James (b 1911). They may have moved from Castlederg to Dungannon and the family may have had a shop.

Does anyone have any information?

Thank you Kim for all of that.
I wonder what happened the children of David Quinn/Sarah Goan subsequently.
I do not thing Hugh Quinn/Sarah Campbell is a connection.

Hi, it was the only marriage I could find for Hugh Quinn with anyone named Campbell. It may or may not be the correct marriage. As for the birth of David Quinn, it is the only birth that matched up with the known facts. Kim

A further child of David and Sarah was Alexander born 25 May 1915 in Drudgeon, in the Parish of Drumragh. With eight children there had to be descendants, But where are they?

A Martha Quinn living in the townland of Glenglush (father David Quinn)  married a Robert Reid in the RC Church Carncorran on 2 September 1925, a Teresa Quinn was a witness.  Just a possibility.
