Cardiff Inquest of Michael O'Brien 20th November 1876
« on: Thursday 05 March 15 14:20 GMT (UK) »
Dear all,

I am trying to find out more about the Inquest of a Michael O'Brien who died in Cardiff Infirmary 19th November 1876. On the 20th November 1876, there was a Coroners Inquest. Where can I find out more about this death? I particularly want to know where Michael O'Brien was living in 1876 and whether any relatives of his were mentioned in the Coroners Inquest Report.

Thanks

Keith

Hi,

I would suggest contacting Glamorgan Archives with as much detail as you have (date of Inquest, name of Coroner, etc.) and ask if the file has survived; survival is very variable.

Good Luck!

Worth looking at the local press of the time, too.
