Double death. Lane End. 1977
« on: Thursday 05 March 15 18:08 GMT (UK) »
I've been tracing Margaret Pauline and Drumond George Cook of Lane End but have found out they died the same day, 28 April 1977. Out of interest, suspecting foul play I have searched newspaper listings but have come up with nothing. Can anyone shed any light from 40 years ago? :-)

My first thought was.  Road traffic accident.  In 1977 I think about 4000-5000 deaths was an average

Hi

As per my personal message (pm) . . . . .

His brother would seem to be on 192.com.
Other family of the couple would also seem contactable in the same way.
(Or Facebook)

Why not ask him/them direct?

You could also order a copy of the Death Cert(s)?

Regards

Which newspapers have you checked ?

Very few local newspapers of that era are available online. You will find copies at Bucks Archives ( in hard copy and microfilm).
