Hi Jackie,
Not new to the forum, but have had family history of the back burner for a couple of years!!(As one does!)
The two addresses above relate to a Herbert Henry Stone (1885 - ?), although his mother also died at that address about 1928?
The second address was also a family home - James and Ann Stone, Herbert was also living with the time.
Half my Bushey relations lived in Merry Hill Lane!
I did have other relatives living in School Lane in the 1920's - 1950s? My great aunt - Edith Jemima Wells (Nee WELLS) - she married her first cousin - an occurance which has happened several time in that line of the family, which accounts for a complicated family tree!.
I had looked at the website before, but not able to see any relations there.
My interest in my family tree was re-sparked by checking some old notes I had made, about Herbert and his World One One war service (apparently he was awarded the Military Cross.) Also Edith's husband - Robert James WELLS - is said to have been awarded the Military Medal.
Any help is appreciated.

P.S. your other post just came through. My Quarrys are from Aldenham (and Elstree) 1750s - 1870s. Most of my research on that line was from certificates - in the pre-internet days - so some may have got missed.I had been told that Pythagoras has some kind of "memorial" at the church , but no image. Anything you may come across would be great. He lived at the Brewers Almshouses.
