Familysearch has a baptism for a Martha Hutchinson in 1855 with parents William and Ann in Thornaby on Tees. Might be worth looking to see if there is a village with a name resembling Kimlap or Kinlass around Thornaby.

Yes, I saw that, but my point was that since the census showed the wrong county for Rotherham, then it might be showing the wrong county for Martha too. Since some of the other kids were shown as born in Stockton, then I would have thought the Thornaby baptism was a good possibility for your Martha. Parents names match and you know they were in that area 4 years earlier when they had John in Stockton.

Good luck, I hope she turns out to be the right one :)
Just out of curiousity, do any of your Hutchinsons get as far north as Felton? Wondering, because that is where mine are hanging out in the 1700s.

There is John Hutchinson baptism also in Thornaby with parents William & Ann, 21 Sept 1851. Looks like a good bet for the brother you are struggling with.

Sarah Ann baptism also Thornaby, 14 Nov 1847. That gives you the three oldest kids from 1861 census all fitting nicely into a family spending time in Thornaby.

Hei oldhippone, I donīt have many Hutchinsons yet, but it will be interesting to keep an eye open and see if we cross paths at some stage. My 4th great granny Mary Hutchinson was born in Felton in 1791. She married William Watson. Her father was Joseph Hutchinson who married a Mary Brown, but I have no info yet on where and when Joseph came from.
