Hi Haywood thank you for your information
Lynda

That is looking quite good as searching brings up current land sales for Clynagh, Costello, Galway  :)

So, is this also your topic?

There much more detail given on this thread on another forum (as well as information found for it) and it looks like you could be the original poster?

Hi I thought my Bridget had died by 1901 as her Children Edward 1883 (our connection) James 14  David 11 and Mary 9 all lived with their stepfather Martin Cannon.
Other Children of Bridget and David
John 1884, Samuel John 1885, James William 1886, David James 1888 pos David Robert 1890 I do not know why they are not with the others and their stepfather .

??? There seems to be some confusion here.
I have answered re Lynda's request re Patrick Gavin. He isn't mentioned on the other thread.
Tara's information looks to be the same Conniss family as the other thread but this one is about Patrick.
Is that right?

Hi

I'm not sure if you are aware of this or not but David's son Edward was in Letterfrack.

You have mentioned in other posts that he didn't mention his time in Ireland.

This could possibly be the reason.

Hi Heywood,

Yup, Lynda has asked on this thread re Patrick Gavin.

As the Cunniss connection is also mentioned I thought I'd let her know that I was working on her relations and have numerous records on them.

As I have not heard back though I am presuming that maybe she already has the information from one of the other threads on this and other sites that myself and Aghadowey have referred to.

Thanks

Tara

Hi Linda

YOUR Bridget HAD died by 1901 !

The census that I sent to you was for David's brother Samuel's widow whom was also named Bridget and HER children by him !

Someone kindly supplied this information about a Patrick Gavin in Feb.2014-

Looking at James William Conniss (1887-1918) WW1 service record I've come across a Patrick Gavin age 50 in Galway and Lucie Conniss (45) and Belinda Conniss (57) both living at 36 John St. Burghton(?) Glasgow.
They were listed under Uncles and Aunts!
