My Grandfather, Thomas Cox was born in East Asdee in 1863 He had four sisters who remained in Ireland. All were married and as far as I know stayed in Kerry. Any help will be appreciated.

A bit more information might help find the family. Do you know the parents' names? If the sisters were born 1864 or later then you can do a parent search on www.familysearch.org to see if there are any extracted births (cover 1864-c1881 for many, not all, Irish births).

There's a Cox family in Astee East- would this be the townland you mean?

See that you also posted this message saying your great-grandparents are Robert Cox & Bridget Enright-
Hello everyone! My great grandfather was born in County Kerry in the town of East Asdee in 1847.
His name is Robert Cox and he was married to Bridget Enright. I know nothing of their brothers or sisters or and Grandparents before them. Bridget and Robert immigrated to the USA around 1890 and are buried in Pittsburgh. Can anybody help me with this? Thank you
Coxfam413

If Robert Cox was born 1847 then he's only 16 when your grandfather Thomas Cox was born  :-\

Note: Astee East is in Listowel Poor Law Union
