Do you use Ancestry? There is a tree on there that calls your George 1833: George J. "Black George" McKenzie.
In addition to Catherine and William there are other siblings: Catherine 1840, Barbara 1843, John 1845, Donald 1848, Marjory 1850. They also have half a dozen half-siblings for him. They have him married to an Anna Thompson in 1859 in Quebec and dying in 1903. None of it is sourced, so I do not know how accurate it is.
There are also another tree showing his parents as James MKenzie and Margaret Campbell. That one isnīt sourced either.
