Hi I am looking for the birth record of Samuel J Connis / Coney I think he was born in 1889 he can be found on the war record of his brother in 1919 aged 30. I think he was born in Derrynea and baptised in carraroe Galway  . Lynda

could this be his mother and 2 siblings in 1901 census?

See one possible birth in Galway of a John Cooney in 1889, but the birth is registered at St. Nicholas Combined N&E RC church (I think in Galway city) which seems too far away

Same family in 1911- with surname as Conneely (there are 40 people called Conneely in the census in Derrynea):

Hi thank you for your reply, I do not think this is the family in 1901 as Bridgets children can be found living with Martin Cannon recorded as stepchildren on the same census.

It helps if you give us ALL the information you have so far so that we don't spend time searching for the wrong people or for details you already have.

Martin Cannon and stepchildren in 1901 census mentioned here-
