The birth of Francis Redvers Richard WHITLOCK was registered Ampthill registration district June quarter 1900.

He was baptised at St Michael's Aspley Heath/Woburn Sands, 15th April 1900. His parents were Richard and Emily Catherine, Richard was a labourer and they resided in Woburn Sands.

I haven't found a marriage for him.

His death appears to be the Francis R R Whitlock, age 42, December quarter 1942 Lincoln registration district.

My knowledge of the Lincoln area isn't good but 1942 is during WWII so I'm wondering if he was there because of the war.

His family remained in the Beds/Bucks border area around Woburn Sands.

Please does anyone know anything about him or can maybe find his burial?

Thanks for any help or advice with finding out more about him.

Thank You - so it looks like he used the name Redvers rather than Francis, and the Lincoln area marriage explains his connection to the area.

Thank you again.

I think he might have appreciated being buried in Newport Cemy as his birthplace and family home was near Newport Pagnell (which used to be in Bucks but is now in Milton Keynes).

Searching FreeBMD it looks like he and Annie may have had a son Richard R June Q 1918 Lincoln RD and twins Clifford and Geoffrey June Q 1928 Lincoln RD.

Also Annie may have remarried, to Bertie Ramshaw, December Q 1943 Lincoln RD.
