Who is it you are looking for?

The father of Edward Penkridge, who you think is Thomas Highfield?! ???

Would you care to explain how you reached this conclusion?

I'm not seeing a Thomas & Sarah Highfield in 1871?

When was Edward born?

Is that census you quoted from 1871?
If so, and he was 64 years old, then he would have been born in 1807?
So where does 1811 come from?

Wasn't that obvious?

Someone born in 1807 (or 1811) isn't likely to father a child born 1818?! ;D ::)

In 1851 an Edward of right age born Brewood was married to an Ann, living in Batmans Hill, Sedgeley, and in 1861 living in Tipton Road, Dudley.

So looks like it could be right marriage.

Berks / Oxon: Eltham, Annetts, Wiltshire (surname not county), Hawkins, Pembroke, Partridge
Dorset / Hants: Derham, Stride, Purkiss, Sibley
Yorkshire: Pottage, Carr, Blackburn, Depledge
Sussex: Goodyer, Christopher, Trevatt
Lanark: Scott (soldier went to Jersey CI)
Jersey: Fowler, Huelin, Scott
