Jones and Jones Marriage 1862 Birkenhead

I am after information on the marriage of Mary Esther "?" who married "John Jones" about 1862 in
Birkenhead. Mary Esther could have been a "Mary Esther Jones"

John Jones was a Pawnbroker of Birkenhead he died 1886

Mary Esther died 1877

totally agree with Rolnora on this one - I have found the baptism of Mary Esther Pover and although she was Baptised in Neston - her abode is Birkenhead ...this may suggest that Mary Esthers mother was from Neston ?

only used your info that you gave - just had a feeling it would be on CPRDb ...and it was ...in fact I would think with the Neston Cabrey surname - you may be able to go back further ...

the brother of Jane Cabrey has a baptism
27th May 1842 - Thomas Cabrey - Neston
father Joseph Cabrey - Engineer
mother Ann
abode NESS - not Neston ...Ness is a little village close to Neston
so ...a marriage for Joseph Cabrey to Ann - I am wondering if it is a typical Irish man ( probably Carberry ) whose Irish accent has been mistranscribed ....I think you might struggle to find this marriage

Thank you all for the information it must be "Pover"  I thought they married much earlier
They had a daughter born about 1862 called " Mary Louisa Alexander Jones" in the 1871 census
as been 9 years old

John Jones father was a "Registrar" Mary Esther Jones died in 1877 and John remarried a Barbara

Just in case you haven't got the details of John's second marriage

He married widow Barbara Anne Smith  4 Dec 1878 at Neston parish church.
Barbara's father was Joseph Cabry a farmer
Witnesses James Jones and Annie Green.
