Indeed. Am going to do a bit more digging to see if I can connect these 3 Careys as the census details I posted give lots of scope for further research.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Thomas and and John were brothers so if john wasnt james son then Thomas wont be but thanks for your help you have been very kind
