Names on Tombstones but no Record ?

I have found a tombstone of John Bannerman  D 1823 and his wife Elizabeth Robb  D 1825 with their son James D 1825  but I can not find any record of their death , The Grave yard is in Rathen stone # 40 , If Scotlands People can't find it where else could I look ?

Unsure if there is more information elsewhere, but as I read it, according to the following, there are no deaths on SP for the time period you are looking at:

At that time you will probably just find burial information I would think. Are you specifically looking for cause of death or date of death? Does the MI give exact dates of death/burial?

Added: I see there is an exact date for all three burials.

Have you checked various spellings of the surname/s?

  I  will try the various name spellings in the records , I thought I could find a cause  for all three deaths being so close together , and the grave yard search does not specify if that was an exact death date or burial date  . If I add them to my tree could I use these dates ?

I would assume the dates would be dates of death. I do not know what would be included on OPRs regarding causes of death at that time.

Perhaps it would be worth you contacting the Aberdeen and NE Scotland History Society who may be able to help you.

Others may have better/other thoughts.
