Norman and Margaret appear to have had another daughter 8th September 1932 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. This lady is probably still living.  Was married to Allan Lane Dial born 1927 and who passed away 11 June 1966 in Sylvan, Alberta, Canada (only 39 years old  :'() and who is listed on FIND A GRAVE

I am the grandson of Daisy the sister of Norman Brookes. I picked up this thread via Google because I am compiling an elementary family tree.

My grandmother said that Norman left the family farm and disappeared. To the day she died she never knew what happened to him. I am accordingly very interested in the information in this thread.

May I ask Tom whether he has been able to sort out Norman's life history with a reasonable degree of confidence and if he has whether he would be willing to share what he has discovered. I phrase the question in this way because there was clearly more than one Norman Brookes in central Canada during the years in question.
