Alexander Black and Lucy Grant Irvine

Alexander Black, born Selkirk 1881, married Lucy Grant Irvine on April 18th 1911, I believe his address to be 33 Inverleith ( ? ) Terrace Edinburgh.

He fought in the Boer War and also WW1 and was discharged in 1916. His service record lists 4 children - Charles 1900, Lucy Grant 1903, Jane Blyth 1903, and Isabella 1912.

Are they part of your family ?

The twins were born March 1912 not 1903

You`re quite right !! I made a mistake when I typed it .

I have  Lucy Grant  5th March 1912 and Jane Blyth 5th March 1912, Isabella 1914
