Coppock
« on: Friday 27 March 15 01:12 GMT (UK) »
When Sarah Jane Coppock aged 22 Married Walter Thomas Howell aged 21 in Halifax , 25 June 1890.
on her marriage certificate her father was named as Moore Coppock a moulder.
I am not sure of her mothers name. I have no details of the Coppock family.
      Any help would be welcomed.
                                                  Graham.

Hi Suzard,
Witnesses to wedding of Walter Howell and Sarah Coppock,
William Henry Howell  and  Florence Heap.

In 1871  Moses Coppock aged 33 and his wife Susan aged 24.

The Moses that married in Hanley 1861,looks like a different one.Susannah Tabinor would be younger.

If Suzard is right Moses Coppock married Susannah Tabinor  1861 Hanley Staffs father Isaac a pottery labourer

It is quite possible Moses married Susannah Tabinor 1861

then Susannah died
Death reg FreeBMD
Susannah Coppick Sept qtr 1863 Stoke T 6b 86

Moses then remarried to Susan Holmes in 1866

It looks very likeley that Susan Holmes and Moses Coppick were the parents of Sarah Jane Coppick

I have lots of information on Susan Holmes if you require it - her father was Decimus mother Frances ( Frances was 2nd wife of Decimus)
Just ask if of interest to you

Hi Suz,
Sounds interesting, as they are in my late m-in -laws family (on her days in Halifax) it would be nice to know more about Susan Holmes.
