Yes, Henrietta was married before to an Arthur Dellow. I requested this post again, because I never found out who George Turney's parents were. Last time I think I was told that his parents were a John Turney and Margaret Bedford...

Can you find Ellen Stephens on the 1841 census?

Perhaps you could bump up your previous post, or do a link to it, so that we do not spend our time looking for information that has already been found.

Also, unless you have got the marriage certificate for details of George's father, then everything else looks like speculation and is a waste of time. (Possibly also a family member as a witness on it)

I think, when you have the marriage certificate, we can attempt to find his family.

No point in chasing Ellen if it is not the correct marriage.

If you are refering to this record it looks as if it is just the index and you will have to buy the certificate to get information. That is the only way that you can be certain of his father's name.
