Request for details of George King Hare from Taunton

George King HARE was born 12 Dec 1821 in Taunton.

His parents were Vere HARE & Eliza SUTTON.
Vere HARE´s parents were Vere HARE & Rachel KING

The Hare's were Estate Agents and lived in the North Street between 1841 & 1851.

I would welcome any further information if possible.

Always look at the original record - in this case it was obviously a "K"!! ::) ;D

There are some military records for George King Hare on FindMyPast;  Indian Mutiny Medal Roll,  1861 Worldwide Army Index and  Chelsea Pensioners' discharge documents.

Curiously, Mary Hare's middle name is... Hare!  George King Hare marries a Mary Hare Busst in 1880in Wellington, Somerset - I am guessing the stepsons are Bussts not Burts. There is a death for a Mary Hare Hare the right age in Taunton in 1901.

I can also see a marriage for a Mary Hare Busst or Bussy in Taunton in 1877 to an Arthur Walter Ward - possibly a daughter, given her age on 1911

Mary appears to have been born Mary Hare Sircom and marries a Henry Busst in 1846. there is a Walter Sircom Busst whose birth fits the stepson
