Alan Nelson Long c 1910 on Jersey

I believe Alan Nelson Long lived on Jersey after about 1941.
Please could anyone help me wih any information about his time there?

If he had been in Jersey after 1841 he would have had an Occupation Registration card and there is not one in his name amongst the 30,000 or so held at the Archive.

Married 1936 gloucester
Died age 94 2005 Isle of Wight

Sorry 1841 was a typo, it should read 1941 - obviously the Germans didn't occupy the Channel Islands until WW2.
