Can anyone help my search for any information as  to what happened to a Mary Brooks born about 1899, the daughter of a George Brooks. I believe they came from the Huddlesfield area. Unfortunately I have no more information on either.

There are 3 possible births! But none in Huddersfield?!

December qtr 1899
Rotherham district     vol 9c, page 747
Brooks, Mary

December qtr 1898
Dewsbury district     vol 9b, page 608
Brooks, Mary Lily

March qtr 1898
Barnsley district     vol 9c, page 278
Brooks, Mary Ann

How does she link in to your family?
There may be clues there? ;D

Hi Buckden

Where does your information come from? A letter? A marriage witness? Somebody's bridesmaid? A relative's recollections? Was she a friend? Somebody's first wife?.  Is it possible the name has been misremembered?  Could she have used another forename? Do you think she could have emigrated?

Any little clue might help.
