Hello,

The latest recording for Herbert GLASS was the 1881 England Census: RG11/2917/121, p21.   This shows he is married, though no wife enumerated, and I cannot find any confirmation of a marriage, except the FreeBMD Marriage Index indicates a Herbert GLASS was registered in Hereford in the third quarter of 1872 marrying either Elizabeth COLCOMB or Fanny MILLS.

My problem, besides the marriage aspect, is the lack of information after 1881 and I would be delighted if anyone could provide details from 1881 onwards. ??? ???   Please forget pre-1881, other than the marriage, as I have a fairly comprehensive profile for Henry GLASS.

It's a little easier to research the possible marriage partners when you see all the suspects;in this case Thomas SAUNDERS seems to marry Elizabeth COLCOMB.

If he is the Herbert with the criminal record before 1881, could he be in prison or sent overseas after 1881?
