BAKERS/CLARKE/COFFEE?

I THINK I HAVE TRIED TO DO THIS BEFORE BUT UNFORTUNATELY GOT NOWHERE...
i have edward baker born 1917 in the west country possibly bournemouth or portsmouth,he had brothers jim and leanda.his father was also known as ted baker and married elsie clarke.his real name was not baker he changed it to baker when he moved from the west country to kent.his nick name was ted coffee and i wonder if that was his original surname.??.the younger edward was married to ada?and he died in 1977 and is buried in orpington kent along with his mum and dad and ada.any help much appreciated.the younger baker boy had children born in the 1950s at corkies pit kent.

i have found out that ted/edward senior was definately born as a coffey surname in hampshire.as he married in 1917 possible birth 1890-1897?
i dont know as i havent proved it yet that his dad may well have been called william or else his uncle was called william.

we think he married as edward coffey cause of name change and as far as we know he married in hampshire.his son mark was born in 1917 in portsmouth but he may have had other children before so might have married before 1917?

also found out now that edward the younger was christened registered as mark baker in 1917(not as edward as originally thought.
edward coffee/baker married elsie clarke.

Hi I'm a baker my dad's granny and grandfather was ellen Johnson and Jim baker had boys Jim , ted my grandad mark baker John and mick from Orpington and girls cathay ,betsy , tilly , bonnie and ellen and my dad's great grandfather was ted coffey and Elsie Clarke my names also mark baker 21 from Kent and my dad's mark baker and me uncles are plod baker and ted baker
