William Gilmore: Coole

Hi,
I am seeking info on William Gilmore. I believe he was born in Coole in 1813 to John and Bridget (Blake). He emigrated to North Bridgewater (now Brockton), Massacdhusetts where he was a baker. He married Mary Gegan, whom I believe was born in Coole, 1816. Her parents were Thomas and Alice (Newman). The many relatives living nearby them in Mass. were the keys to zeroing in on Coole.

All the naturalization papers of the Gilmore and Gegan men named Westmeath as the county where they were born. I found William's Church bap. record on rootsireland.

My query has to do with William and Mary's marriage. I can find no record of it. Their 1st born daughter, Mary was born in 1847, Mass. I hope someone can give me some hints as to where I might have some luck finding out where they were married.

Unfortunately if they married in Ireland the marriages from July 1843 to Aug 1846 are missing.

Overall the register covers a long period (including deaths) you should be able to find more family.

I do have these baptisms. I have the feeling they were married during the period of the missing records. You've sparked me to dig into the Coole Parish records again and see what I can find as far as burials.
