It was in the patronage of the Bishop of Raphoe, and you could perhaps ask if it was anything to do with that.

on the site I gave you Wason is spelt Wasson, Wasson are buried in the grave yard?

The name was originally Wason, but then became Wasson.  In Ballyarnett Presbyterian Church records family members were baptised Wason, but then used the name Wasson.  So the family in the Griffith's Valuation and in Drumhaggart graveyard are the same.
