On www.italiangen.org one also sees the death of Louis W Tinelli in Manhattan, 24 May 1873 aged 74.   For some reason it's not showing up for me in the Familysearch datasets.

However, Family Search does have a probate record for Louis- 10 pages! (you need to sign in to see paperwork). Forms give death date as 25 May 1873, lists surviving children, guardianship of son Charles.
