Have you tried looking for others who are researching your family names on rootschats surnames board.  You could also put your names on there so anyone else lookin would find you.

The marriage for Henry Cooke & Margaret McCarthy was on 12th December 1868 in Midleton Co Cork.  Grooms father William Cooke. Brides father Maurice McCarthy :)
