Lounds/Lownds of Willenhall

I am looking for information on the following family. I have a John Lounds b in 1827 in Atherstone, Warwickshire. His wife was Mary Ann Walker b 1828 in Lichfield, Staffordshire. They married on 25 December 1848 in St. Chad's Church, Lichfield. I have 7 children:

* John (my main line) b 1849 in Lichfield who married Harriet Taylor. (I have had some success with them and finding living relatives though this site - see: Lounds - locksmiths in Willenhall for more details),
* Mary Ann b 1852 in Lichfield,
* Elizabeth b 1856 in Willenhall (she married George Hough),
* William b 1857 in Willenhall (he married Elizabeth Richards),
* James b 1862 (he married Sarah Rogers),
* Benjamin b 1867
* Harry b in 1870.

Any information or contact with other researching the same tree would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance M x

I have him marrying Sarah Slater at St. Stephens, Willenhall.

I dunno Jool, yours looks pretty convincing and thank you for the link. I have to look at mine again. I haven't got a date for the marriage so it is possible I found it through one of the children but several other trees have her as Slater. Thanks Jool x

Hmm, interesting.  Here's Sarah Slater's details for the marriage, no father listed..

And no father mentioned on Sarah Rogers' census. She could be like the Annie Richards-Carter where she went as both names x

there is a gap between Sarah and the other children about 10 years so she may have had 3 marriages or Sarah was born out of Wedlock x
