Bagworth parish records
« on: Sunday 12 April 15 22:05 BST (UK) »
Hi, i'm currently researching my x4th great grandfather Henry Gowdridge, in all census records it gives his birth as c1815 in Bagworth, he married in the Mkt Bosworth district in 1841 to Charlotte Henshaw, i'm trying to find the parents of Henry, the marriage is registered as Goodridge but all other records state Gowdridge. in 1841 there is a John Gowdridge age 70 living with Henry so it looks likely he is the father but i was wondering if there's any sort of baptism record. I've tried the LDS site but can't find anything.

Many thanks in anticipation

Jason

A copy of his 1841 marriage cert will give his fathers name and occupation

Hi Jason

Just a long shot, if there are any Moore's popping up would be interested. Have only one Henshaw marriage, hence microfiche and bits for Bagworth, Thornton and Nailstone and the odd Muggleston/e too.
