Bildeston Marriage Check Please

IGI gives a marriage 16 Dec 1760 in Bildeston between William Weymark & Elizabeth Cooper.

I wondered if any one is able to confirm the entry in the PR please? and would be particularly interested in the bride's parish and names of any witnesses.

Hi Geoff,

I can't help with the actual PRs  but the marriage index (Ex SFHS) lists it as;
16-12-1760 William Waymark, of Lindsey and Elizabeth Cooper, Bildeston.

By definition, I would say that Elizabeth's parish was Bildeston.

I'm sure someone here will be able to peruse the actual PRs for you.

Hi Alan,

Thanks for that. My problem is that I have been stuck on my Essex Cooper line for quite a while. A Will I've found of John Goff widower Great Oakley refers to 3 step daughters. One is mine, another is Elizabeth the wife of William Wyemark, Lyndsel, Suffolk.

There are hints the Coopers came from Suffolk, but only hints. Guess next thing is to look for the daughter's baptism in Bildeston area, Sarah, Elizabeth and Martha all with same parents.

I suspect their mother may have been Elizabeth but that is not definate.
