Naphtali Jack b.abt.1851
« on: Tuesday 14 April 15 10:19 BST (UK) »
Naphtali Jack, born abt.1851, married Sarah Jones 1878 Liverpool - father John.   Can anyone help me trace his birth?  Or anything about the family in Ireland.

Thank you.

Is John his father's name or Sarah's?

This (submitted) online tree gives his name as Naphthalia JACK (parents not listed):

Another spelling variant: Naphthali Jack was summoned for selling drink during prohibited hours - at 26 Regent Road (Liverpool Mercury 1 September 1880)

Thank you Aghadowey - The father of Naphtali was John.  I had found your other references - nothing for Ireland though.

Thanks again for you interest.

Thank you Shaunj - that is a bit of new information - he was a publican so the report in the Liverpool Mercury fits.  It all adds to the picture.  Thanks again

26 Regent Road was the Railway Hotel. Naphtali Jack is listed there in the 1881 Kelly's Directory

English death certificates for the period would have the same details as Irish ones- no parents listed.
