hi researching my familly tree back further ive found  edward mccabe  born 1786 cavan ireland all ive found is  his name edward mccabe from chelsea pensioners records and service records 1760 to 1912 army pension uk did the british army recriut soldiers from ireland  1800 to 1810 when edward would have been abt  14 to 24 years of age  edward mccabe married a lady called hannah williamson in dalton le dale durham england married on 2 dec 1805  so would edward  have had a short military carreer. and what battles might he have taken part in  can any one help please thanks tony bond
