Looking for more information on the Aitken family Dennystown

I am starting all over again with the Aitken family as I think I followed the wrong line.

Here is what I do know for a fact:

William Samuel Aitken born 01 Jan 1882 in  42 Levenhaugh St in Dennystown.

I have his father as James born 01 Jan 1860 in  Kirkintillock, Dunbartonshire, Scotland and his mother Elizabeth Jane McCrudden born 06 Nov 1867 in  Randalstown, Antrim, Ireland.

I then have a marriage for them in Randelstown County, Antrim, Ireland on Nov. 9, 1877 but that is wrong. Elizabeth would have only been 10! I have a copy of the marriage record & it states both James & Eliza were over age 21 so perhaps her birth year is wrong. ? Something is off here.

I am hoping the census records giver their ages & we can find out exactly who William's parents & grandparents were.

The 1891 entry shows Eliza as 32 so born approx 1858/9

Donna, I think Elizabeth Jane MCRUDDEN/Aitken died in 1911 in DUMBARTON at the age of 55.

Her parents' names should show on her death registration, if known to the informant.

Going to the Family History Centre at the Mitchell Library tomorrow (Saturday 18 April ).  Happy to look up the death certificate if that would help

I don't have a death date for either her or James or proof positive names for their parents. Would be great to fill in some blanks!
