I have really been searching for No 3 near Dunbar because of the photo of the children playing near Bass rock. I was so wrong
Could this mean that one of the two missing ones is in that area.
You would think that they would be staying somewhere near where the children were playing, would they travelling by car or on the train?

Aw Pat I feel for you because I did the same thing.  So frustrating!!  I've tried looking on a map to determine the location of Bass Rock to the mansions, but my internet is only limited at the moment and everything takes an age to load or just drops out.  Worst thing is, my download doesn't reset until 2 May!

Just some more trivia.  In relation to recently identified WAI 9, Tilgate Mansion (no longer existing), dinosaurs remains from the mesozoic era (think T Rex) were discovered in Tilgate forest forming part of the estate.  With WAI 17, it is the oldest brick mansion in Britain and WAI 18 (photos included in WAI 17), was built in 290AD.

Oh, I was going to be so clever . I had a play with this map last night, reducing the size of the names of places and adding No 22. I was going to have it all ready to post when Caz updated the list.
What do I find when I get on my laptop this morning, two more places identified before I even had chance to read the post
I have therefore added 23 & 24. I wont know until I see the map on line when I post it, if the names are clear enough. If not I'll have another play with it.
