Might be able to find it here:

I once worked at Llay Hall Gwersyllt, might the Mill be part of that estate?

It depends which one you want, corn mill, wire mill ?
Do you have any names or census records to go with it .

It is the Corn Mill which was occupied up to 1901 at least by my Lea family. The reason I ask is that I have a Lea relative sailing to Southampton from South Africa.I'm tasked with showing him places of family interest on May the 5th.

I amd almost 99.99 % sure  it`s here in the middle. For it to be the mill then it would be on the river and the old  buildings  are still there.  In 1911 John and Martha Lea are there and it`s called  Lower Farm, Gwersyllt .

The road  leading down to the farm, off the Llay Road just after Lindops used to be known locally as Lea`s Road.

There is another source that says that Lea`s Road ran from Diggory`s Farm down to Gwersyllt Hall Farm. , and that Diggory`s  was  where Jock Ferrari had his second hand shop and later a garage.  Of course this was before the New Road was built

1898.

Gwersyllt Mill is marked on here, just past  Gwersyllt Hall Farm , on earlier maps it is marked as a corn mill. Where the Round Wood is shown, just to letf is the route of the Llay New Road, running from Plas Acton Road to Lindops garage.
