MI for Christian Lawson
« on: Saturday 18 April 15 10:16 BST (UK) »
I am looking for a monumental inscription for Christian Lawson whose death is recorded in Longside in 1840 and whose OPR death record states: Lawson Christian, from Cairngall, daughter of James Lawson, 38, 15th May.  Thank you

There is a Lonmay entry for 1840.

"Lonmay, stone: 194,   Christian Lawson    14 Nov 1840"

A lair plan for the kirkyard at Longside was drawn up in the 19th century and a transcription was made of the gravestones extant and legible at that time. Aberdeen and North-East Scotland Family History Society has a microfilm copy of it.

Thank you very much for that.  I'll get in touch with them.
