The attached is clipped from the attestation record of William's brother.

I'm not sure if my enquiry should be here or on the Scotland board. Is anyone able to decipher the street name please.

There are various styles of hand writing on the document, even on the day of attestation so there is both to compare and contrast with.

I'll go with that. Taking a look at Google map shows that there are still buildings on the street of an appropriate age for my man and his brother, commercial below and housing above.
