George William Harbord Postle 1876 Yarmouth

I really did not know where to post this query, George wed 1896, then the next year he is lost at sea on board boat called Daniel  1897.Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
How do I find out more about this ? Sorry If I have put this on the wrong board.

Where did you find the information that you have on him, just to give us something to start from?

Hello Chempat, the info came from a lady in Tasmania, all the info on the record reads as ; George William H Postle lost at sea 1897 on vessel Daniel.
Other info given ; Series BT334, Registers & Indexes of Births,Marriages & Deaths of Passengers & Seamen at Sea.

Might be a coincidence but in the results for deaths at sea on FindMyPast - there was an Edward Postle born 1874 died 1897 on the vessel Daniel.  ???

The reference is the same as what you quoted - BT334

Belonging to service -  Ship's name - Daniel

There is a report in " The Standard (London, England), Tuesday, June 22, 1897 " ~ wonder if it's the same man

 " A long procession of disabled fishing boats yesterday reached Yarmouth, after the gale. The Danill ? reported that one of the vessel's hands named ERNEST POSTLE  was washed overboard and drowned ."
