another unknown soldier-help please

I have yet another unidentified man in uniform any help with regiment would be much appreciated

That style of cuff was used 1881 to the Boer War. His 'facings' - collar and cuffs - look white, in which case he is serving in an English non-Royal regiment - also not the Guards or the Rifles. But that still leaves about 25 possibles.

If you have the original then a very high definition scan of the cap and collar badges may tell you more.

Are there any photographer's details?

Sadly I only have a photocopy.The reverse says T.Hayward, 8 Maryport Street,Devizes

In 1897 the glengarry cap was replaced by the field service cap.  You can date this photo to before then so its a few years before the Boer War.
