Could John Andrew Hedrick have died later than 1873 - 1874 -  The Hedrick girls births look to be after that date  ???  Dora 1877 - Edward 1879  - Nettie 1881  and Mary 1884  ???

Sandra

Added I can see them as Moon on 1881 - next reply.

I think the Mary Hedrick is really Mary Moon born 1883 and later marries Freeman Pickering in 1901

John Andrew Hedrick - 29 January 1874 - Rochester Essex.  31 March 1874 Essex Ontario.

Someone on anc has a death cert for John Andrew Hedrick Snr - passed away  7 January 1874 - Cause of death consumption.

Florence Jane Hedrick - 29 June 1871 - Essex Ontario. Father John Hedrick and Mother Anne Grandbois - perhaps this is the one known as Gertie on that 1891 Census  ???

Have to wonder if Amos did not die but abandoned the family and that is why there does not appear to be a marriage record for Hiram and Susan. Still leaves question of where and when he died

Effie Lampman (nee Lefler) daughter of Susan Ann Grandbois adopted a child in 1913 called Myril Catherine Kleist, and gave her to her sister Mary Pickering when Effie divorced her husband Charles Perry. Mary placed her in a children's home in Chatham. Can anyone help me with more information about this child?
