Marriage of William Rowland Parry

Hi,

William married Anne Hughes in Sept Qtr 1904 in Caernarvon - I am hoping to find parents names  without resorting to purchasing the marriage certificate. Does anyone have access to the records or are based locally and could visit Caernarvon archives on my behalf?

Have you looked for them on the1911 census to find where and when they were both born?

It was a civil marriage, so Caernarfon Archives won't have the info. Gwynedd Registrars will have the info, but according to Government rules, will only supply the info thro' purchase of a copy of the marriage certificate.

Hi Carole,

Yes I have looked for them without success - the William Rowland Parry I am looking for was born in Liverpool in 1860 and I have posted on the Lancashire board looking for him. It was suggested he may have married in Caernarvon in 1904 to Annie Hughes but there are lots of Parry's and Hughes in Caernarvon and none seem to match. This could possibly be him as he was in the Royal Artillery until his discharge in 1896.

At this time I have no concrete idea what happened to him

I can see a match to that profile living in Yorkshire in 1911 but without a middle name

Hi Caole,

Yes I have tracked that one but they were married many years earlier than 1904 and the earlier censuses don't tie in with the man I am looking for.

Are you descended from one of his children?  If so - can we have details of the child?

Not my direct line - I don't know currently if he had any children.
