Minnigaff burials
« on: Sunday 19 April 15 19:38 BST (UK) »
At last - after many searches and spending a fortune on Scotlands People - I have found one I was looking for   - the family are Hewitson and I used the name variation on scotlands people - the person I found is Anne HUARTSON and this variations is not included in Scotlands People data base or so it would appear.    I found it whilst messing in Ancestry.    The certificate says she is buried in Minnigaff Churchyard -   can anybody point me in the right direction as to who would have the burial details for this cemetery.    The cemetery does not appear to have been included in other sites data bases.

Have checked the Pre 1855 MI's for Minnigaff but there is no record for Anne being buried there.
Is this the Anne who died 1859.
Try The Stewartry Museum in Kirkcudbright, they have full MI records for most of the cemeteries.
I have used them on many occassions & they are very helpful.
I will send you a PM with their Email as cannot post it here.
