Hi Stan,

I have seen the Hurworth records online at Family Search 1787 - 1885, but these do not appear to be the ones I am looking for.  I feel there must have been some other records as the individuals I have seen are not among these records and they went  back to 1777 at least.

Anyway, not to worry.  I'll get over it  ;D

Hi Mo
Yes you are right there was
Hurworth and
Hurworth on Tees
record sets, and for some reason familysearch removed Hurworth on Tees records off the site,

I was hoping to find out where the Holborn family came from before they arrived in Hurworth got back to 1743 first baptism I think, Robert Holbron was the Father,
but now that's gone,
I also remember years back looking at these records for Hurworth on tees could not understand why 2 Hurworth sets were on the site    they went back to 1700 or earlier

Hi Brian

Thanks for that.  Now I know I haven't gone doolally.  Phew!!!

Maybe we are related, but it doesn't look immediately apparent.  Unless, of course, you know of a Christopher Holburn/Holborn (1820) - illegitimate son of Elizabeth Holburn/Holbourn.

Mo

From my post "The current mis-spelling of the parish is awaiting re-engineering." which probably refers to Hurworth on Tees
