Might be a Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter.

The Strutter had V shaped struts over the cowling. This looks more like a Sopwith Camel.

The man on the right is blocking the fuselage where there would be an Observers' seat on the Strutter but it doesn't look like there is one.
