Need help with Joseph

To day a long awaited marriage certificate arrived and now have doubts if I have the correct Joseph.

Joseph Williams born 1806 (c) Olveston Gloucestershire. Parents James 1772-1856 and Mary Thomas 1764-1829. Siblings James b 1801. George b 1802. Mary b 1808 and John b 1816.

The certificate that arrived was a marriage between Joseph Williams (full age) and Elizabeth Skinner (full age)  married in Westbury upon Tyrm  on the 5 November 1838.  Elizabeth's father is called Charles but all they have is Joseph's father  deceased no name or occupation.

Any help would be appreciated.

If I have the wrong Joseph what happened to the original?

As you can see from above father James died in 1856 (have death certificate)

Are you certain that he married, as there is this Joseph in 1851 in Wales, age slightly wrong unless it was a late baptism?

Could be Groom, only 4 years out and because he was baptised in 1806 may not be his birth year. See if I can find more out about Joseph the second.  Just out of interest the whole family were farmers.

Tried looking up a baptism for Joseph WILLIAMS, c.1806, but unfortunately the records are held at Bristol Records Office.
