Peter Thomas

I am searching for a Peter Thomas born (I believe) in the 1760s. I cannot find him anywhere in Caernarfon except for the birth of his son Thomas Thomas in 1790. His wife is named Elizabeth, but there is no record of a marriage in Caernarfonshire I understand that the forename Peter is common in Cardiganshire and Camarthenshire, but rare in other northern counties. Family lore has him coming "from the south"

Could anyone provide some input which would help in tracking him down.
Roberts, Caernarfon. Thomas, Caernarfon. Kite, Kent.

There is a Peter Thomas born Flintshire 1761. Baptism 29/13/1761 Holywell. Parents Hugh & Elizabeth Thomas.
Marriage of Peter Thomas 1/10/1786 Nannerch, Flintshire to Elizabeth Parry. Grooms father Hugh Thomas, Bride's father George Parry.
The dates tie in with your time span but not quite the areas you have been looking at, so just a possibility.

Kind regards,

Ellen
