Annie Golding/Golden Skreen For Waterloo and I
« on: Thursday 30 April 15 21:38 BST (UK) »
Hi All

I expect you're thinking Long Time No See!

You'll be right but we're working on it!

I'm trying to help Waterloo get back to her Irish side and we're quite chuffed we've actually managed an Irish connection but we're not sure where to go from here!

The family ended up in Hull where we both have spent time but Annie Golden/Goulding was born in Sligo Ireland to Martin Golding and Catherine (Formerly McDonnell).  We have a reference for Annie Golden born 1873 in Skreen Sligo.

We reckon we have the parish as Skreen and Dromore RC.

Would anyone either have access to the register or know how to obtain it?  Is there a film anywhere or would we have to get in touch with the parish?

There are other siblings.  Where would the next parishes be?

Any ideas gratefully received!

Best wishes

Emms :)

The parish records should be online in July, hopefully the one you want will be there.

In the meantime this looks good for her birth certificate

Hi Sinann
Thank you!

That's exciting stuff for us to hear over here in England!

We'll await the release with baited breath and investigate the certificate.  I think Waterloo has had one failed attempt.

Thank you again.

Best wishes

Hi Heywood  :)

Thank you!

You always come up with the goods!

We'll investigate that!  I've not sent for a certificate to Oreland yrt, but I've one to send for fofr myself as well.  I'll look at it later.

Thank you again.
