I have her as Annie Maria Goodman who married Stephen Wright in Dec 1872. Stephen decends from Charles & Ruth Wright.  In 1911 she living with son Arthur & wife plus other son Frederick & wife. The other 2 sons seem to have gone to Canada - might have to check passenger records.

Thanks for that John. I had, as you can imagine, already got her in my tree!

Her children where not the only villagers to go to Canada from the Wright family.

Her children where not the only villagers to go to Canada from the Wright family. John Goodman Wright and Walter seem to be the Canada travellers. Did they travel at the same time as George and Lilian? Maybe.

The names of the Mourners are also interesting, the Seamark family for example where linked to the wrights through the marriage of George to Ann seamarks, who then emigrated to Australia

Now would you like a challenge?

Mike

From Beds Times of 17th Sept 1937.... seems Walter went to USA not Canada.... his widow must be Evelyn who sent a wreath as detailed in funeral report. It was John Goodman Wright that went to Canada, again wreath from John & Mirry & children. Daughter Elizabeth must have married a Mr Lenton, again wreath from Bessie, Arthur, Jack & Sonny.
